So I may offend my feminist friends here and you know who you are :). But Hillary Clinton running for president?! Yuck.
I am sorry but I had issues with that woman when she was married to Bill. She has done some good things but she also tends to run at the mouth and say some pretty offensive things.
I am all about a woman running for president but my preference would be someone along the lines of the late, great Ann Richards.
Not Mrs. Clinton.
I am really nervous about our options so far for president.
With the state of things as they are now it's pretty obvious we need a drastic change but let's not go crazy here.
How about a Happy Medium?
Who that is? I have no idea...
And that concludes my political ramblings for this week. :)

Caprise, you know that I minored in Women's Studies... so maybe I fit into the aforementioned category. However, I am not excited about Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Caprise, I love you. Still, I also love Hillary. And so it goes. I think it comes from hearing her speak. I saw her give an amazing speech in college that was really great. I think the fact that she's a woman who isn't afraid to talk like the republican boys talk frightens the media, and all. But I also think she's abandoned a lot of the liberal stances that I personally, as a progressive, found attractive in her. So, I will give you this: I am not as thrilled as I would've been back when she was truly a lefty. :) :) And in the end, I do love Obama most of all this political season (with the exception of Feingold, who, yesterday, told the president OFF in a hearing, and then proposed a complete pull-out of Iraq in 6 months, and again became my dreamy political lovah). :) hee. Enough, I am shushing up on the politics. :)
