Have been getting daily status reports on my Grandma.
All I can say is no one should have to go out like this.
And no one should have to see it and try to deal with it.
It is simply frightening - my Grandma deserves to go out w/dignity and just is not happening.

You are so right and you hit a nerve. My Mom suffered... we all suffered when she was losing her battle with cancer. I've never witnessed anything so emotionally horrific and I hope I never do again. Nothing sucks so much as hoping this will be over with soon for everyone's benefit.

I'm sorry to hear you and your family are going through this. I just lost a great aunt due to cancer two weeks ago. I wish I could say she died in peace, but my mom who was with her said it was really anything but. I'll be praying for you and your Grandma.
