We know have a ground line and internet here at the new house.
It is nice to be connected again. And cable - it is a little sad how much we rely on electronics.
So ... my worries have been confirmed. My Aunt was admitted to the hospital on Monday night. She was in questionable health prior to everything w/my Grandma and I am assuming that the added pressure pushed her over. They aren't really sure what is going on but they have been running a ton of tests.
These ties in to our electronics in that I found out via email.
I am thinking of her but trying to get the house in order truly is helping.
It is going to be hard returning to work.
I am enjoying being a mini homemaker.

HOpe all is going well with your home move, Caprise, sounds like you are settling in well. Currently I'm dealing with a Category 4 hurricane, and no place to evacuate to. I'm pretty much terrified, but we're gonna ride it out it looks like. School has been cancelled for the beginning of the week, the city is eerily quiet. Everyone is gone. Chris is at work still, but i can't figure out who the heck is going to dinner. We can't leave because of his job, and so....think of me. And pray for me around 8 am on Monday when all hell is expected to break loose. Woo. pig. sooie.
